More about Jacquelyn Brennan: A St. Louis native, Jacquelyn received a BS in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois and continued to pursue her passion in fitness by becoming a NASM and NSCA-CSCS certified trainer. In 2009, she became a Fletcher Pilates teacher and has assisted in teacher training as an adjunct Fletcher faculty member all while building a large, devoted clientele base. According to Jacquelyn, the most rewarding aspect of teaching Pilates is allowing people to move better in the body they have – to eliminate pain, strengthen weaknesses and improve performance. Jacquelyn is the co-founder of Pilates + Coffee in Roscoe Village and of The Lab Pilates training, and is a perinatal corrective exercise specialist. More about Jaq Howard: Jaq has been a group fitness instructor since 2002, specializing in steelmace, interval training, rowing, cycling and dance. She creates high-energy classes that incorporate a variety of weight training and provide intense cardio workouts. Before launching into group fitness, she studied ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, lyrical and hip-hop dance all on the competitive level. She then joined and toured with International Hip Hop Company Dance2XS and moved on to dance professionally for the AFL Chicago Rush Adrenaline Rush Dancers and the NBA Chicago Bulls Luvabulls.
