If you would have asked me 12 years ago to teach yoga or guide a meditation with sound, I would have most likely laughed. I began my journey in the healing movement scene in 2009 with NIA, yoga and Sound healing circles. Around this time I started to ...become aware that being a part of the LGBTQ POC community, that healing movement needed to be a vital part of our growth. Cut to today and I’m a yoga instructor,Sound meditation Practitioner and have been practicing yoga for over 11 years now. Both practices have helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless on and off the mat.
Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully, sound Meditation teaches me to focus and get clear about what I know to be true. I completed my 200 hour Sivananda ttc in November of 2018. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing to help you reconnect with the body. Using a spirit of playfulness and a healthy dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. With Sound Meditation I seek to help others honor and live their highest truth.Allowing the sound to shake up the stagnant and clear out to opening for the higher good. By nourishing the body, mind and soul with yoga and sound, My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed,or walk away from a sound circle feeling reconnected to your body and mind completely nourished and balanced.
