Since beginning to teach group fitness and yoga in 2014, I've expanded what I do to more broadly be described as a movement coach. I am trained in vinyasa yoga, primarily, but also hold a personal training certification, a Corrective Exercise Speciali...st certification through NASM, am a certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, a pre- and postpartum corrective exercise specialist, and a group fitness certification through ACE.
Ever since I was a girl growing up dancing, movement has been my language of expression. But my understanding of how movement can help us tune in and really listen to our own bodies has grown through each type of movement modality I learn. That's why I don't teach just one format. All principles of movement, to me, are connected. It's a tool to understand ourselves, and a way to process what's happening in our outside world to find more calm within ourselves. This is why I love to teach and this is why I've made it my career. I aim to lead classes that help you feel at home in your body, wherever you are.
